Dear Friends, Wonderful News! Cranfields is reincarnating as Cranfields 2 - an exciting new concept and destination offering much more than the Cranfields furniture, gifts and special pieces you know and love. It's a place for conversations, for connecting ideas, people, stories, communities; a space where you can see and hear about the work of people helping others in need.
After Cranfields closed, the political upheaval in Tibet forced me to put all travel plans on hold. This created some welcome time to reflect on my plans and on just how much I enjoy the business of the shop and all the interesting, inspiring conversations that happen there. Then there were the generous offers of help so many of you made. Thank you so much. So, what could be better than combining a love of specialist retail with a dream of making a difference to a world community in desperate need and fulfilling your wishes to help! As well as selling Tibetan craft works and ensuring the funds are returned to the artisans, Cranfields 2 will be an informative, inspiring site where you can find out about organisations working in Tibet and the many ways, both small and big, that you can make a contribution.
